Lupe Brown

The shuffle series:

LUPE BROWN-THE FRATELLIS

Jon Fratelli (from The Sunday Mail May 4, 2008): "This is another one where I knew I'd done something good. It's the most singable chorus we have ever had and I think it's the next single. I have high hopes for it, anyone who hears it their eyes light up a bit and they always ask about it again. I have a feeling it's the one. It's not Motown but that old feel - you think you have heard the melody before somewhere. It sounds like it's a big old song we have covered but it's ours and I'm excited about it."

Best Album Covers

Jay Z and Kanye West: Watch the Throne
This cover was designed by Riccardo Tisci, creative director of French fashion house Givenchy. It is unique and can be recognised everywhere, and the fact there is no writing on the album cover shows arrogance, perhaps suggesting that the album will be so successful that there is no need for any writing. The gold cover says one thing: "I'm rich".

The Velvet Underground: The Velvet Underground and Nico
This album cover was designed by famous artist Andy Warhol. It is a weird choice of object for an album cover. Like "Watch the Throne", it can be recognised very easily and is now synonymous with the Velvet Underground.
